My name is Alex Gonzales and this is By an Ion. I'm a music producer out of San Diego California. I focus on creating music centered around 80's nostalgia and cinematic landscapes. My affinity for artists like Kavinsky, M83, Ladytron, Depeche Mode, and Sigur Ros have influenced me to create these stylings of retro synthwave and ambient modern dark music. I've had the pleasure of working with Top synthwave producers such as Timecop1983, The New Division, Dj Ten, and W O L F C L U B. I've performed and toured with national acts like Stone Temple Pilots, Bush, The Cult, Peter Murphy and Peter Hook from Joy Divison and New Order.
